We collect the minimum data necessary to provide and improve our service:

• Anonymous device identifier: A randomly generated ID stored locally on your device, used to identify your submissions without requiring account registration
• User-submitted content: Conflict descriptions you submit for AI analysis, and the resulting verdicts
• Community activity: Votes (my fault / their fault), comments, and comment likes/dislikes on published cases
• Usage analytics: Anonymous page views, feature usage, and interaction data collected via Google Analytics
• IP address: Collected at the time of verdict submission for abuse prevention and rate limiting purposes
• Language preference: Your selected language (English or Korean) for providing localized service

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used for the following purposes:

• Providing AI-powered verdict analysis and displaying results
• Operating community features including the public feed, voting, and comments
• Analyzing usage patterns to improve user experience and service quality
• Preventing abuse, spam, and enforcing rate limits
• Displaying advertisements through Google AdSense

AI Data Processing

When you submit a conflict description, it is sent to Google's Gemini AI for analysis. The AI processes your text to generate a verdict, including a case summary, defense arguments, prosecution arguments, judge analysis, and a blame percentage split. Google may process this data according to their own privacy policy.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense). These may collect information about your browsing behavior. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. We also use localStorage to store your anonymous device ID and language preferences.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google (Analytics, AdSense): Usage analytics and advertising
• Google Gemini AI: AI-powered verdict generation and conflict analysis
• Supabase: Database hosting and data storage
• Vercel: Web application hosting and edge computing

Data Retention

Your submitted verdicts and community activity are retained as long as the service operates. Soft-deleted content (by user request) is marked as deleted but may be retained in our database for a reasonable period before permanent removal. Anonymous analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention policies.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we use anonymous device IDs rather than user accounts, most data is already anonymized. If you wish to delete your submitted verdicts or comments, please contact us with details to help identify your content.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
